The single smartest thing I've done as an author

The single smartest thing I've done as an author:

TUNE IN. 📖

Tune into readers → what's lighting their fire?
Tune into feedback → where can I level up?
Tune into the buzz → what's capturing imaginations right now?
Tune into the vibe → which narratives are hitting home?
Tune into my fellow scribes → what journeys are they charting?
Tune into my inner doubter → how can I refine my art?
Tune into... myself. Every. Single. Day. → what's my story? Me. The creator.

Crafting stories is about connecting. Compassion. Curiosity. Decoding the whispers of the soul.

And occasionally, just occasionally...

It's about laying down those words.

P.S. I wasn't always in tune. I evolved. Used to think I needed to "have it all figured out" from the first word. Wrong. All it really takes to start is to listen deeply. Just... tune in. That's where the magic happens.
