Here’s what actually helps a nonfiction author stand out in a crowded market

Here’s what actually helps a nonfiction author stand out in a crowded market:

#1 Get specific about who you help.

#2 Lead with the change your reader wants, not the topic.

#3 Give them a concrete difference they can compare.

#4 Show them why they should believe you.

#5 Make that difference easy to remember, then repeat it everywhere you show up.

#6 Your book doesn’t have to be every reader’s first choice, it has to be the obvious choice for the right one.

So here’s my question. If someone found your book today, could they tell in one sentence who it’s for and what it changes for them?
