Finding Clarity in the Journey of Rising Authors

Starting Rising Authors was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Ramadan is not merely about fasting. It’s about deep reflection.

Today, I was on a call with my friend and mentor, Charlie Hoehn

I’m still in awe of my life, that I get to learn from some of the most amazing people.

He shared some valuable insights, and as he’s mentored me this past year, I’ve gained nothing but pure clarity and focus.

He’s constantly reminding me to stay the course, be creative, experiment, and avoid distractions.

I’m grateful to you, my brother, and the many I will share about this month who have shaped me and helped me along my journey.

I’ve always felt I’m a thin-cut slice of luck. And today is one of those days where I don’t just feel it; I know and feel it.

Fasting during Ramadan always helps me return to that humbling feeling, and I’m forever grateful for that.

From living under a dictator in a refugee camp to working with some of the brightest people.

As I broke my fast this evening, I was grateful for the first bite and drink of water.

I closed my eyes and sat with that moment of gratitude of not having to have.

That is the essence of reflection in the simplest of forms.

Keep Rising my friends ✊🏾🌹
