Read their posts, engage with them, and what they have going on.

DM people questions and sincerely ask for advice.

Build relationships.

Hopping on a “coffee call” is ok ONLY if you plan to give more than you take.

The more human you are at this thing, the better it will feel for you and those you seek to connect with.

If you think social media is complex, you can advertise in newspapers, magazines, and TV to reach your audience or, even better, some flyers around town.

Old methods may still work. But they are not as effective as they once used to be and still not an affordable option.

Your time and energy are a requirement.

Building strong and healthy connections is your gateway to what you need to build your thing.

But connecting with others is NOT about you; it’s about being interested in others.
