Book Marketing for Introverts: Reach 50 of the Right People

If you’re an introvert author who really dislikes being in front of the camera or just hates using social media, you need this...

Stop trying to reach thousands of strangers.

Reach fifty of the right people.

Make a list of fifty people who already have the audience your book serves. Podcast hosts, association leaders, newsletter writers, coaches, conference organizers.

Don't make excuses like "How do I find their mailing address?"

Many list a business address or PO box on their website, often on the contact page or in the footer.

If you can’t find one, email and ask where you can send a copy of your book.

Most people say yes. If they don't reply that's ok, it's a number game, keep going.

Send each one a signed copy with a handwritten note about why your book matters to their people.

No pitch. Just a real letter from you, and make it about THEM, the audience, the work they do etc.

Add tracking to every package.

When it shows delivered, wait a few days, then send a short email. Mention the book, ask if it arrived, and leave it there.

Introverts are often at their best one to one.

This plays to that strength.

You only need a few yeses. Each one puts you in front of an audience that already trusts the person introducing you.

Whatever you do, don't just stand there waiting. Take action friend!
