Building a Thriving Community Without Going Viral: My Journey on LinkedIn

I've been active on LinkedIn heavy for over two years now, and this one thing has never happened.

Despite posting daily and creating valuable content for my author and expert audience, I've never gone viral.

I've never had a post get more than 100 likes or even over 20-30 comments.

Here's what has happened, though:

I've made the best connections and amazing friends. I've met some of the most interesting, beautiful-hearted people.

I've built my entire Rising Authors Community and marketing business on the back of LinkedIn and YouTube.

Almost every client I work with has come to me through this platform or through a referral, which I openly pay great money for because that's part of my strategy.

I've optimized and managed many LinkedIn profiles, built amazing websites, and continue to achieve incredible results for so many experts.

One client locked in a $200,000 consulting opportunity, and many others have closed amazing deals because I helped them break through their fear barriers and gain clarity.

I receive consistent direct messages from people seeking to land dream expert opportunities and turn them into legitimate income for themselves and their families.

It's not the size of your audience; it's the quality of who you connect with and being open to helping everyone.

I've given more valuable free content than most do in thousand-dollar courses.
I left Instagram and Facebook over two years ago because those spaces no longer served me.

Instead, they were time-sucks and set comparison traps for creatives. I shifted from consumption to creation online, and I'm grateful for the internet and LinkedIn.

They have allowed me to work with people from all around the world.

So, yes, this post may get the attention of 20 people, a handful of likes, but one may take me up on my offer to help them build their author brand and online presence in an organic and genuine way.

I'm here for what matters:

connections to keep building my dream and the dreams of others. All that other fluff is just a bonus if it happens.

I'm sharing testimonials from the many friends and clients I have had the privilege of working with because I'm proud of the work I get to do, and no one is out here promoting me but me.

Lastly, Happy Floral Friday - For those who know me, you know what I'm talking about!
