Embracing the Creative Experiment: Finding Freedom in Exploration

Thinking my work is an evolving experiment has helped me in many ways.

As a creative, that’s what I’m always searching for.

Freedom to explore different ways to communicate ideas.

Seeking perfection makes me feel slow and indecisive, so I’m not confident in my actions.

Releasing that by reminding myself it’s just an experiment has done wonders.

Experiments lead to all kinds of exploration, which leads to creating and not just overthinking how it will be.

Rather than getting out of my way, out of my head, and into the creative process flow.

A trick I do when I’m in my zone is to set a timer for an hour and set my phone up to record a time-lapse. ( this is great for my B Roll for later videos )

It keeps me off my phone and in my idea-generating chill time.
