Mission Clarity: A Proven Approach to Positioning Your Book for Success

Here's my go-to approach for positioning and identifying my clarity.

1. Define Your Mission

Start by asking: What's the dream outcome for your book? Pin down what success looks like for you.

2. Zoom In on Your Readers

Identify the people who need to read your book for your mission to be accomplished. They are your true audience.

3. Craft a Compelling Core Idea
What's the essence of your book? More importantly, why should your audience invest their time in it?

Let's connect the dots:

Your mission dictates who you need to reach. This audience has particular interests and needs that your book needs to address.

And your book?

It's got to hook and benefit your readers to fulfill your mission.

It's like a puzzle. Get all the pieces right, and you create something that matters both to you and your readers.

The bottom line is this: Readers are looking for value, not just a good story.

They're asking, “What's in this book for me?”
