Gratitude and Growth: Reflections on Building a Supportive Community for Rising Authors
I'm grateful.
I have had so much support from so many from incredible people.
Building Rising Authors has taken so much effort. But I can honestly say there's been so many who have helped it grow.
So, a simple thank you doesn't suffice, I'm merely speechless when it comes to the many who have always reached out to help in some way.
As I slowly get back to writing my second book, I realize that the supportive structures around me have been made of pure gold.
My next book the Garden Warrior dives deep into more of my Refugee story and life in business lessons.
I left so much out of my first book that I finally have the courage to share more.
That courage comes from many of you.
From family to friends and people I have forged connections with here on LinkedIn and inside the RA community.
I feel privileged to help authors bring there stories and work out in the world and I don't take it lightly.
I see growing a community as a flourishing garden that requires continues effort to lay the layers of resilience in the soil.
That soil is a culmination of years of hard work. Planting seeds in this soil has been so rewarding.
Slowly the seeds have grown and I know that this year so many will harvest from the community garden we've all come to support in many ways.
I wrote a bit today and visited my gratitude and debts chapter with much emotion.
I can't wait to dive deeper and finish writing my next book The Garden Warrior.
