Overcoming the Post-Launch Slump: How to Successfully Market Your Book and Expertise

Most authors fall into what I call the valley of death after launching a book.

They don't know what to do next and start overthinking.

What's the next step?

It's simple but not easy.

Attention to your expertise and your book.

The problem is many authors feel like they have to be on every platform to “market” a five dollar book.

After a few weeks that's very difficult and authors feel like they “tried everything.”

What they are actually saying is, they are overwhelmed and not sure what to do.

That's ok, you’re not alone.

You don't need to be on every platform and chasing every new thing.

Honestly every platform is the same when it comes to human psychology.

Nothing will work if you don't take action.

Put aside what others will think of you and post your expertise.

My friend and client Michael and I have been working on developing his online presence.

I told him to keep sharing the pain and solutions locked up in his amazing book.

So we worked together and after a month of posting regularly..

We have take off!

His posts started gaining traction and the one I'm sharing below took off!

He was able to get leads and signed a big consulting opportunity!

He's been consistent with his content and videos and it's paid off.

Overthinking sucks the life out of action.

Use action and build from that point forward.

Your credibility and authority depends on what you do with your book, content and marketing strategy.

Nothing has to be perfect

Do you, and start!

I'm also excited to share that we just launched his amazing new website you can check it out here.
