Juggling Deadlines, DIY Projects, and Podcast Adventures

I strive for consistency, scheduling my videos and work ahead of time to avoid missing deadlines.

However, the past two weeks were a bit chaotic.

My wife and I are building a DIY fence around our property for more privacy and security, replacing the old one we had.

That, plus crushing some client websites and launching them, had me in overtime and overdrive.

So, I gave myself permission to appreciate the moment, be in the moment, live life, build a fence, and prepare our backyard for future gatherings. Investing project time and dancing around with her is life; it's fun.

Also, great news: the "Van-Gogh" (our Podcast Van) is ready fo rpick up and ready for the next phase of exterior graphics for the Rising Author Podcast Show.

I'll share some design ideas with you all soon!

Everything I just wrote exemplifies how I stopped writing for "EVERYONE" and started writing with one person in mind—my one avatar.

This approach allows me to share more intimate details and create a sense that I'm speaking directly to you.

My goal is for you to even hear my voice in your head as you read this.

That's what this week's video is about: writing to one person and why it simplifies things for you the next time you write an email, a blog, a social media post, or even a book!

It works well and it’s one of the game-changing things I learned in the process of writing my first book.

I hope the video is helpful.
