I worried about saying the “right” things, or that someone else might already be saying it better.

I worried about saying the “right” things, or that someone else might already be saying it better.

Ever feel like you don’t “know enough” to step up and share your story?

I get it.

But here's the thing I learned along the way.

People connect with real, not perfect.

In my journey, I’ve shared a lot—my insights, my struggles, even my refugee story.

And every time, I’ve seen how real experiences connect with people in a way that polished expertise alone just can’t.

Think of all the voices out there sharing their knowledge.

Yet, the ones that stick are the ones that bring something personal, something unique.

It’s not about knowing everything; it’s about sharing the journey as it unfolds.

When I began building Rising Authors, I didn’t have all the answers.

I just shared what I knew, as consistently as I could.

And little by little, I built trust and a community of people who resonated with that honesty.

You don’t need every credential or every answer to create impact.

You need your story, your perspective, and your voice.

If you’re holding back, wondering if you “know enough,” remember this: someone out there needs to hear it from you.

So, show up and be consistent.

Share what you know, however small it may seem, because it’s powerful.

That’s how you start building connections that last.
