Here’s something we rarely talk about as experts and authors.

Here’s something we rarely talk about as experts and authors.

Feeling like an outsider, even when you’re “successful.”

When I first started achieving what I thought was success—getting opportunities, connecting with the right people—I felt... lost.

I wasn’t celebrating, I was anxious.

Like I didn’t belong in the spaces I worked so hard to get into.

No one tells you how isolating it can be when you’re trying to find your place in a world that doesn’t look like the one you came from.

But here’s what I’ve realized over time.

Belonging doesn’t come from external validation—it’s something we create for ourselves.

It took me a long time to understand that belonging wasn’t about fitting in.

It’s about bringing your authentic self into every room and trusting that your story, your journey, and your voice deserve to be there.

If you’ve ever felt like an outsider in your own success, know that:

#1 You’re not alone.

#2 You don’t need to “fit in.”

#3 Your unique experience is what makes you belong.

You’re not defined by where you started—you’re defined by where you’re headed.

I tried to create as much "ART" to remind me of resilience and surround my self by it by any means necessary.
