Don’t Be a Wandering Generality; Be a Meaningful Specific

Don't be a wandering generality; be a meaningful specific.

When I heard these words in 2012, my entire world changed.

It's cool to be good at a variety of things, but if they span too many themes, topics, and areas of expertise, you can easily get spread too thin.

Instead, focus all your skills and efforts on one area, and become truly great at that specific thing.

Learning this has helped me stay focused, and understanding that stacking my skills and knowledge amplifies what I'm building towards.
