Building Something Great? Expect the Unexpected.

The adventures of building a podcast show in the RAE-VAN continue.

On my way to Phoenix today to interview an author, I had a nasty tire blowout.

Grateful it wasn’t worse.

I’m fine, all is fine.

That tire, however? Not so fine.

This right here, my friend, is the ugly part of building something.

I was up late prepping—charging the camera, getting ready for my interview.

What I wasn’t doing? Planning for the trip. Checking tire pressure, making sure I had what I needed in case of a breakdown, etc.

That was today’s lesson.

Make a checklist for road trips. Pack tools. Be prepared.

It’s something I needed to learn, and I’m good with it.

People don’t usually share the bad or ugly parts of business. Not everything goes as planned—that’s for sure.

Onward and upward, my friends.

Practice patience and gratitude. 🌹✊🏾

S/O to Chris with AAA though!
